In this training course, you will gain a practical overview of the basics of IOL calculation using the IOL-Master & Co. We will explore the calculation options available with the ESCRS IOL Calculator and explain the principles behind the various formulas, as well as which ones are best suited to which eyes.
In addition, we will address key topics relating to biometry, typical measurement errors, and how to recognise and avoid them. We will also cover relevant quality control measures to ensure reliable measurement results.

This training course focuses on selecting the appropriate intraocular lenses (IOLs) for different patients. We will examine the various types of lens and their respective potential, highlight which lenses are suitable for which patient profiles, and explain what particular attention should be paid to in the case of specific anatomical conditions or individual characteristics. The aim is to gain confidence in lens selection and to be able to make an informed assessment of which lens is appropriate for use in which situation.
Duration: approx. 1 hour
Together with your staff, I will analyse the procedures in the cataract and refractive surgery clinic on site. The aim is to optimise existing processes, make workflows more efficient and improve communication with patients through targeted communication techniques. Particular emphasis is placed on structured workflow management and the smooth running of day-to-day practice operations.
