EDOF & Soft Multifokal: zwei Welten – eine Perfektion
Seamless vision at near and far distances thanks to innovative surface design
Diffractive design of the rear IOL surface for multiple focal points in the near and far range.
Special aspheric design of the IOL front surface for extended depth of field and seamless near and far vision.
Within the 4 mm zone (soft diffractive rings), the incident light is distributed using a specially calculated distribution of diffractive rings on the optical surface, resulting in optimal light distribution with high image quality when the focus changes.
Outside the 4 mm zone (high-order aspheric refractive surface), the smooth transitions between diffractive and refractive zones create balanced light distribution in the near and far range. This effectively reduces annoying interference.
Central Optical Zone
The extremely high optical aberration extends the depth of field.
Points in the vicinity can be seen sharply.
Optical peripheral zone
The aberrations gradually decrease in the peripheral area. With a wider pupil, there is no annoying interference that impairs the quality of vision.
Surface technology with high-order asphericity
The extremely smooth surface prevents glare.

Patients with Max Vision™ achieve better intermediate vision and a smooth transition between distances—with significantly less glare and better contrast vision compared to competing products.
The defocus curve of the MAX Vision™ IOL demonstrates the seamless transition of vision from near to far—without any disturbances. Clear near vision and excellent visual acuity in the 40–70 cm intermediate range
expert opinions
Medical Director, Heidelberg University Eye Clinic
The MaxVision performs very well in all areas and has excellent image quality. It is at least competitive, if not better than what we consider to be the “gold standard” today.
Ärztlicher Leiter der Augenklinik Petrisberg Trier
We have now implanted Maxvision many times and the experiences have been absolutely positive across the board. So far, we have not had a single patient who has noticed halos, which gives us great hope.

MaxVision is an IOL lens that is absolutely impressive. I am very happy to offer it to my patients. Patient satisfaction confirms this.
