Viscoelastic

Viscoelastic preparations for ophthalmology. From biofermentation.

Minivisc® Plus

High molecular weight, pseudoplasticity, and cohesion ensure maximum intraocular stability while creating space during capsulorhexis.
Reliable even in difficult cases such as trauma and refractive surgery.
The very high pseudoplasticity makes the viscoelastic solution easy to inject and simple to remove after surgery.

Neocrown®

Neocrown® contains 14 mg/ml (1.4%) sodium hyaluronate.
The molecular weight is between 3.8 and 4.5 million daltons and the zero shear viscosity is between 320,000 and 500,000 mPa.s.
The osmolality is in the range of 270 to 400 mOsm/kg and the pH value is between 6.8 and 7.6.
The product is obtained by biofermentation and is suitable for use with a 27G cannula.
The volume is 1 ml. The composition per 1 ml includes: 14 mg sodium hyaluronate, 8.5 mg sodium chloride, 0.563 mg disodium hydrogen phosphate, and the necessary amount of water for injection.

Opticel PFS 2% 2.0ml

Opticel hydroxypropyl methylcellulose-based viscoelastic. Available in the following concentration:

Opticel 2% Sterlie disposable syringe with 2 ml solution, including 23G disposable cannula from Sterimedix, Luer-Lock connection.

Maintains optimal depth of the anterior chamber during capsulorhexis.
Provides excellent protection of the endothelial cells throughout the entire operation thanks to its dispersive characteristics.
Free from preservatives.
Highly pure and can be easily removed after surgery by irrigation/aspiration.
Can be stored at room temperature (10°-30°C).
Viscosity: 5000 cPs
Molecular weight: approx. 86,000 daltons
